The Murray River Queen based at the Waikerie riverfront is a unique floating motel, fine dining restaurant, licensed café and a wine tasting and sales area.

The fine dining restaurant caters for up to 120 people for special occasions, weddings, conferences, or simply a great meal with a great view. A' la carte menu with a specials board daily. The licensed café features some great light meals as well as daily specials all prepared by our leading chef and his staff.

Mallyons is open daily between 10am-4pm except Tuesday and Wednesday. Closed each year in July. The cafe is available for group bookings in the evening. Bookings essential. Houseboat access, ample parking, licensed, byo welcome.

Step in the shop and the aroma of the freshly baked products will have your mouth watering. Baking is done on the premises and they specialise in pies, pasties and sausage rolls and have over 25 varieties from which to choose. All the traditional favourites in cakes, slices, buns, breads and rolls are also available.

Do yourself a favour and call in to the Waikerie Bakery. Parking isn't a problem.

Organic Vignerons Australia is a local Riverland company producing certified organic wine.The company includes vineyards in Waikerie and Loxton which are all family owned and operated.

Their attention to detail has produced award winning wines in the first vintage. Mataro/ Shiraz / Grenache 2002 has been awarded a Gold Medal in the Canberra National Wine show as well as 2 bronze in Melbourne and Hobart. Shiraz / Cabernet 2002 was awarded a Silver Medal in the Riverland Wine show and a bronze in Melbourne. These wines are available in most local outlets.

The Thompson Family have been growing grapes for around 80 years in and around the Waikerie area. A combination of excellent viticultural practices, the best possible fruit combine to produce great intensity and flavours to all their wines.

The range of wines includes: Chardonnay, Semillon Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Tempranillo, Shiraz, Merlot, Larra Pinta Sparkling Red and Sparkling White.
